Yes! In fact, Oahu Horseback Rides is the only trail ride on Oahu that goes on the beach!

Our trail is a guided walking trail along the beach. The sand in Hawaii is too deep for the horses to go faster than a walk. Safety is our top priority for both our guests and horses, so we do not permit trotting or cantering.

Our Trail Guides will use your phone or camera to capture the special moment on our picture beach! There is no additional cost for this, but tips are accepted!

The ride is between 60-90 minutes and varies based on group sizes and how fast individual horses move. The whole experience starting from check in is 2 hours long.

Our trail rides are beginner friendly and designed for riders of all experiences! We always give a safety demo prior to starting out to ensure everyone understands how to ride!

You must be physically able to ride and stay on a horse safely (in extreme cases it is staff decision). Let us know if you have any issues.

Due to our insurance not covering any keiki under 8, the minimum age requirement is 8 years old! There are no exceptions! We do not allow double riders as that is a safety hazard.

Traffic depending, it would be safe to leave 90 Minutes before check-in time (30 minutes prior to activity start time). Traffic starts around 2:30pm!

30 minutes prior to the ride start time is the HARD arrival check in. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy, meaning that if you cancel within 48 hours of your tour start time, there will be no refunds issued. Rainouts/cancellations due to weather are at company discretion. We ride rain or shine.
